Car Wash

This is one of the Sunday's Release is Misteri - Car Wash at DS4J
This is a card I made with it by combining it with image Feeling Flat

I have used memory box loopy ring die and poppy stamp fading dots border both of which I got from Dutchpapercrafts

The flower is a wooden flower from Micheals and the button was a clear button which I inked and heat embossed. I love adding charms.. And a mesh ribbon (from costco) to ground the image

Now to enter the card in some challenges

Challenge #78 - Embossing

The challenge this week at DS4J is Embossing and the the host is ME - Yeah!
The challenge -

Zing up your paper creation with embossing. Use either wet or dry embossing. If you want to go the extra mile use both :).  Our challenge date starts today - Wednesday 16th October 2013 and ends on Tuesday 29th October 2013. We would love to see what you do . We would prefer you to use our digi stamps from our shop of course ( you will have an extra edge when it comes time for drawing the winner)  but you can also use other stamps.  Do link up your projects in the linky at  DS4J
I am excited ! Are you?
The challenge runs until Tuesday 29th October 2013 (south african time)

I decided to make a crossover card

I merged these 3 images -

and colored with copics.
The embossing folder is Anna Griffin folder and I inked the folder and embossed the glimmer misted cardstock. I also then hit some spots with gold foil pen to add some interest. The stamp is also from Anna Griffin sentiment and is heat embossed.. So this card incorporates both the wet and dry embossing. I have also inked up edges and more using chalk ink
Don't forget to link up your card at DS4J

I want to enter this card in some challenges

Thank you - Elvis style

This is Pam  from TheBugBytes and Papillon Digital Designs today on She's a SassyLady.
Thanks Sheila for having me as one of your DT.
Today I have a Thank you card - Elvis style.
I updated my Imagine and started cutting with it. Was so happy it worked but after printing some paper and cutting some images it started showing missing ink cartridge when I tried to do advanced calibration . Grrrr..!!  And it's a new ink cartridge to boot.
Now I know why I gave up and went with another machine. Well we will see  I will try troubleshooting and updating again!
Well anyway at least got this one card out of it. This is from Imagine - Greeting card

Thanks Sheila for having me here

Challenge #77 at DS4J - Use Recycled item and snowflake

This week the challenge at DS4J is sponsored by Elenor
and the theme is USE RECYCLED ITEMS PLUS ADD A SNOWFLAKE. You have until Tuesday 15th October 2013 to play and post your link at DS4J

It's still a little bit warm here in Texas! But yes I want the holidays.
I have used Gilly Gluwein . She is one of my favorite winter gal image. I colored ger up with copics

I recycled the twine from another project and also the kraft cardstock is recycled kraft CS. Ha Ha so are  all the pattern paper. To hide the tears and smudges I added more of it and distressed it up with distress ink ( tea ,soot, antique linen)
The sentiment I think is from waltzing mouse or paper trey ink. Not sure. The snowflakes are from spellbinder (big ones) and rest from a border punch. The embossing folder is Nellie snellen winter village embossing folders which I got from here -

Now I do want to enter the card in some challenges

  5. using sketch 5
